Residents of the City of Knoxville are allowed to own, raise or harbor chickens within the city limits. There are specific requirements which residents must follow to own these animals. The requirements include application of an Urban Livestock Permit, payment of a $25 fee, an annual inspection, and compliance with all rules and regulations of the zoning ordinance.
