Instead of doing away with the old middle school, the gym, auditorium, and cafeteria should be kept to be used as community event center. The property can be rented for large gatherings or used for...

Instead of doing away with the old middle school, the gym, auditorium, and cafeteria should be kept to be used as community event center. The property can be rented for large gatherings or used for fundraising events. The gym can be used as another practice space or for open gym. The auditorium can be used as a rehearsal space when KPAC is unavailable. The cafeteria can be used as a rental space for gatherings such as a graduation party or a family reunion. The rest of the building (classrooms etc) can be torn down and be used to make room for parking lot expansion for Ken Locke Stadium.
